Littleton City Council recruits annually in December and January to fill vacancies on its authorities, boards, and commissions. Residents of the City of Littleton are invited to apply for vacancies by Wednesday, January 31, 2025.
All city offices and facilities including the Littleton Center, Bemis Library, the Littleton Museum, and Littleton Municipal Court will be closed Monday, January 20 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
The Colorado Bureau of Investigation has implemented the Colorado Applicant Background Services (CABS) program in response to Senate Bill 17-189. Beginning September 24, 2018 citizens requesting to be fingerprinted for licensing, certification or background checks will be referred to the vendors selected by CBI to process electronic submissions.Littleton Police Records will not accept requests from the public for fingerprinting services after September 24, 2018, except for court-ordered fingerprints.

The City Clerk's office processes all applications for liquor licenses and special event liquor permits for establishments and events in the City of Littleton.

If an event which anticipates more than 100 attendees is to be held in a city park, on a city street or at a city facility, a City of Littleton Event Permit application is required.
