On Thursday, July 18, Littleton Center and Belleview Service Center will be closed from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Municipal Court from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., and the Community Development Department from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Bemis Library will open at 1:30 p.m. Littleton Museum will remain open.

The city offers free wood mulch to residents. This raw mulch is a product of the city’s forestry pruning and removal operations.
The mulch pile is located on the northwest corner of South Prescott Street and West Prentice Avenue outside the white PVC fence at that location. The site is open to the public during daylight hours. Residents are responsible for loading their own mulch, so bring bags or trash cans and a shovel or pitchfork. For information, call 303-795-3827.

What type of mulch is this? This is raw, untreated mulch dumped directly from our chip truck.
Will there be mulch when I get there? Yes. We refill this large mulch pile one or two times a week.
When can I pick up mulch? The site is open to the public during daylight hours.
Do I need to tell anyone? No. Come prepared to load your own mulch at your leisure, no one from the City of Littleton needs to be notified.
