The Finance Department is responsible for accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, annual budget, cash management, external audit, cashiering, sales tax and use collections, as well as utility billing functions for the city.

The Revenue Division issues licenses to all businesses to collect and remit sales and use tax. This includes businesses inside and outside of the city limits as well as home-based businesses in the city. This division is also responsible for utility billing functions for the city. 

The Operations Division maintains vendor records, process payments to vendors, process payroll, and oversees the Senior Refund Program.

The Budget Division develops and manages the city's budget. 

The Financial Report Division prepares the annual audit, the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report and is responsible for the monthly financial reports. The division also maintains capital assets, grants, and city investments.
