On Thursday, July 18, Littleton Center and Belleview Service Center will be closed from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Municipal Court from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., and the Community Development Department from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Bemis Library will open at 1:30 p.m. Littleton Museum will remain open.
The City website's map functionality, including the Address Wizard and Zoning Portal, is currently experiencing intermittent issues. We are actively working to restore full access.
City staff will be considering a wide variety of solutions ranging from education and enforcement to new access locations, traffic control strategies and geometric configurations. In addition, both short term and long range modifications will be identified, as appropriate, in order to create a Mineral Avenue corridor that addresses the issues and concerns raised by the community and captured in the project problem statement, given the resources available now and in the future.
Information will be provided as potential solutions are identified.
These solutions will then be assessed for implementation based on community preference, projected costs, funding availability, and other factors.
Residents are welcome to suggest potential solutions for city staff to consider as part of the Mineral Avenue Corridor Assessment.
The following study report was prepared for city council review.
